Establishing a relation with our clients is essential.

Dr. Joi creates an environment for her clients to feel at ease, even while clients are discussing their open wounds.

This part of the process will be raw and honest. We want our clients to be very open with us to provide the best help and we welcome you without unfair judgement.

Dr. Joi has grown through circumstances and decisions over the years and has a deep empathy as well as honesty for her clients. With that, her clients are able to feel comfortable with talking about issues.

Intervention

We discuss ways to find a resolution.

Dr. Joi will give you homework to create accountability and to reinforce the wisdom given throughout the counseling sessions.

This aspect of our counseling sessions is critical. It is important for you to implement the lessons to see a better outcome in your mental health, situation, and life in general.

At this stage of our relationship, Dr. Joi expects that you will be successfully independent from the guidance from Shepherd for the Shattered and will stand strong and thrive in life from the inside out.

We reach out to you and ask for your feedback and reflections from lessons learned.

You will have excelled and graduated from the hurtful stage of your life and now be a transformed person as long as you heed to the guidance given.

Foundation Matters

Shepherd for the Shattered is a Christian based organization. We strive to help people to be successful based on the wisdom, life experiences and lessons of Dr. Joi but it could not be done without the immense depth of the Word of God and the principles therein.

Our basis for counseling is one of love, faith, hope, diligence, commitment and dedication.
